Allen would like me to let everyone know that the Tuesday, Sept 12th clean up for the courts has been temporarily delayed until further notice. Please EVERYONE STAY SAFE! We will let you know how the courts have fared through the storm and what the new clean up date will be. Take Care everyone!
So with Hurricane Irma on its way to visit Florida, many of our players who take part in the Thursday Morning Four-Play had already evacuated. Ron, Tom and Randy were unable to be here so I cleared three courts with the idea that there might still be some hardy players. Six (6) enthusiastic players showed up for the challenge. Without a full slate of players we played two Round Robins and just enjoyed shuffling. Hopefully all of you will stay safe and be able to return soon. Ciao!
Friday, Sept 1st 2017, was a very sad day because of the passing of our good friend and CMS Club member Wayne Lockwood. We send his family our prayers and know his passing will be felt deeply by many people. Wayne will be sorely missed. More information will follow!

Ron Raymond and his crew cleaned up the courts for play in this last Thursday in August. Only one more month left for playing Thursday Morning Fore-Play. Eighteen (18) excited players arrived this morning for the challenge. At morning’s end, only two players, Dennis Buelk and Randy Radke, had won all four of their matches. Congratulations! Hope to see y’all next week to face the next challenge. Ciao!
PLEASE NOTE: Effective Thurs, Sept 7, MahJong will start at 1:00 pm, not 1:30.. thanks, Joan
Rich Kordeleski has been working hard to maintain our courts and shuffleboard accessories. Now that we have Wayne’s New Discs, Rich decided to have additional Wooden Disc Carriers made. Rich built three new carriers as replacements. We will paint and re-number these disc carriers. The old discs will be moved to older carriers and will be kept in the Cue House for alternative uses. Thank you Rich for all your support and hard work.
New Wooden Disc Holders, soon to be painted.
This morning, as usual, Ron Raymond and his crew cleaned and prepared the courts for this morning’s play. We had Seventeen (17) players show up to shuffle. Three players were able to win all four of their games. Congratulations to Ron Raymond, Bonnie Radke and Tim Pergrem. Hope to see you all next week to meet, greet and shuffle. Ciao!

Ron Raymond and his crew showed up as usual to prepare the courts for play. Dennis sent me these results to place on the WEB. Twenty (20) shufflers showed up for the morning games and only three (3) players won all four of their matches. Congratulations are due to Edna Triplett, Bob Tager and Rod (Lewis?) for games well played. See you all next week for more fun and games. Ciao!

Allen Best and his crew have been working hard to get our New Discs ready to use. We weighed all the discs and matched them (as best we could) together in pairs (black & yellow) by weight. Today we laid out all the discs and painted the dots identifying the matched sets by color, one (1) thru four (4). On September 12th (please place it on your calendar) we will be asking volunteers to help wash, wax and prepare the courts for the up-coming shuffleboard season. Volunteers will also help wash the score boards and erasers as well. Thanks in advance!
Ron Raymond and his crew showed up early to clean and prepare the courts for morning play. Twenty-one (21) ardent players showed up for the challenge. Congratulations to Tim Pergrem, the only player to register four (4) wins. Hope to see you back next week. Ciao!
