Ron Raymond and his crew showed up as usual to prepare the courts for play. Dennis sent me these results to place on the WEB. Twenty (20) shufflers showed up for the morning games and only three (3) players won all four of their matches. Allen Best and his crew have been working hard to get our New Discs ready to use. We weighed all the discs and matched them (as best we could) together in pairs (black & yellow) by weight. Today we laid out all the discs and painted the dots identifying the matched sets by color, one (1) thru four (4). On September 12th (please place it on your calendar) we will be asking volunteers to help wash, wax and prepare the courts for the up-coming shuffleboard season. Volunteers will also help wash the score boards and erasers as well. Thanks in advance!

This morning Ron Raymond and his crew arrived as usual to clean, dry and set up the courts for the morning challenge. We had seventeen (17) eager summer players arrive for the games. We played our usual four games and Ron Raymond was the only player who ended up with four wins. Congratulations to Ron. Hope to see you all back next week to try again. Ciao!

Randy and I were out of town, but this is what we found out about the Thursday Morning Four-Play. We had Sixteen (16) players showed up to shuffle. Tom Rimmer and Dennis Buelk won all four of their games. Unfortunately the pictures did not come out and the board was erased before they could get a record of it. Hope to see you all next month for a new exciting challenge.

Not as many members are here during the summer doldrums. Everyone has to have dinner, so why not together at the club, followed by a friendly game of shuffleboard. Twelve (12) members participated. Good eats and companionship. Al welcomed three new members to the Pot Luck this month. David, Casey and Anne came to enjoy the eats and company. Elizabeth Sharman also came to be with friends and reminisce about Ben with those who shuffled with him. Bonnie drew the 50/50 ticket and Honey won the pot for the second time. Joan said a short prayer and then we had dinner. Hope to see you all back next month. Ciao!

The weather was a bit more comfortable today. We played four games but no one was able to win all four of their matches. Hi Everyone, just a reminder about our July Pot Luck Dinner which is scheduled for this Friday, July 21, 2017. The doors open at 5:00 pm for socializing and set up. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. For those of you who are new to our Pot Luck Dinners, please bring a plate, cup and silverware. Also, if you would like wine or beer, please BYO. Tea and Lemonade will be supplied. Please sign up in the cue house so we can have some idea of what dishes will be brought to share. Dinner may be followed by an energysing game of Bunco. Hope to see you there.

We had one court that was played as a Round-Robin and four team courts. At the end of play we had one player, Charlie Jones, who won all four of his games. Congratulations Charlie!
