Congratulations to our Coronado/Mainland members who did very well at the tournament held here. Before telling yo0u about them we want to give a BIG THANKS to our volunteers who did such a big job in preparation: They cleaned and waxed our courts in preparation for this tournament, set up the refreshments in our club room, put our all the pencils chalk, brushes and seat cushions, swept and beaded all the courts, put out disks, and some waited around over the two days to re-wax disks and/or re-sweep and re-bead courts on request! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!

Greetings:
This is just a reminder that our Tournament is this coming Monday, March 02nd. Rich and Carolyn would like to have you arrive at the Deland facility by 8:30 for registration. Donuts and coffee will be provided free of charge compliments of the Deland Club.
In the unlikely event that the weather is horrible and we can’t play the tournament on Monday, we will still meet Monday morning and we will still have our luncheon, but the tournament will be postponed until the next day.
We have the “A” trophy but somebody at Coronado has the “B” trophy which should make its way back here as well.

A good crowd showed up for the fun – 9 Pros and 7 AMs, so on one court two pros played against each other with a “Bye” AM as a pusher. The top 3 Am finishers were Tom Carbonell, Bob Stock, Jerry Jabaut (Picture does not have Tom) and the top Pros were Edna Triplett, Phil Wade and Bill Boyes (pictured below).

When you are playing shuffleboard, please keep an eye out. Lost Conure Please help Neighbors. A Conure named Skittles escaped the safety of my neighbor’s house yesterday. He is very friendly and quite vocal. They are on Normandy Avenue Beach and they really miss their feather-baby. Please, if anyone sees him let Bob know. Robert Rank call or text 386-956-9981
