The Coronado/Mainland Shuffler

This morning the usual clean-up crew showed up to prepare the courts for our Thursday Morning Four-Play Challenge. We had Twenty-Three (23) enthusiastic players show up for the TMF-P Challenge. One court was a “Round Robin”. Each shuffler played four matches. We Congratulate Charlie Jones, Debbie Evans, Bonnie Radke and Dennis Buelk for winning all four (4) of their matches. Next week is our last week to play this TMF-P Challenge. Hoping to see you there. Ciao!

The usual morning (very humid) clean up crew came early to prepare the courts for our Thursday Morning Four-Play Challenge. We had Thirty-One (31) enthusiastic players come for the challenge including two players from the Lakeland Shuffleboard Club  We each played four matches.   At the end of play we must Congratulate Bob Tager for being the only shuffler  to win all four of his matches.   We have two more weeks of play before the end of summer season so we hope to see you all next week.  Ciao!

Just wanted to remind everyone that it is time to pay our Annual Dues for the 2018 – 2019 Season. The first tournament starts on October 4th and you need your new membership cards by then. The usual morning cleaning crew showed up early to clean and prepare the courts for our Thursday Morning Four-Play Challenge. Eighteen (18) enthusiastic shufflers showed up to meet the challenge.  This week was remarkable because Stan Williamson and Al Dronsfield came to play. When the dust had cleared only Dee Metz won all four of her matches, Congratulations! We only have three (3) more weeks of play till this challenge ends for the season. The usual clean up crew arrived to clean and prepare the courts for the Thursday Morning Four-Play Challenge. Twenty-Two (22) ardent shufflers came for the challenge. We each drew for partners/courts, played four matches and recorded our wins at the end of play. We can congratulate Dennis Buelk, Charlie Jones and Guy Godman for winning all four of their matches. Monday the NSB Maintenance workers came back to complete lining the parking lot and resetting the yellow parking barriers. It is functional and looks neat. Thanks to our town’s Maintenance Department.
