I have been asked to post some information on our Intercity Competitions for some of our newer members. The CMS Club has three teams competing every Wednesday throughout the Winter season. We compete against Deland, Orange City and Ormond Beach. Our Teams are Red, White and Blue. If you are interested in participating next year you can contact one of our team captains. I am sorry to say that due to lack of sign up and Christmas events we have cancelled the December Fun Day.  We will also be rescheduling the January Fun Day to the 20th.

We have our Christmas Pot Luck Dinner Scheduled for Friday, December 15th.  Very few people signed up for this event. We need to know how many people will be attending so that the club can order the Ham and Turkey they will be supplying. Please sign up in the Clubhouse and let us know what you are bringing.   Thanks for your attention to this matter.  Come help make our Christmas Merry.

We currently have the Northern District Tournament Scheduled for Dec 7th and 8th at the CMS Shuffleboard Courts.   So far we have very few Volunteers signed up to assist with this tournament. The CMS club shufflers competing in this tournament are not permitted to handle the discs and/or work on the courts during the tournament.  If you are not competing, please consider volunteering your time to help us out during this tournament.   Volunteer sign up sheets are available in the club house.

Saturday, December 2nd is our Executive Board Meeting at 10:00 am to be followed by the General Board Meeting at 11:00. Mary Harlow will be leading the Scoring Challenge starting at 12:00 noon.

Please try your best to attend as we have assigned an Election Committee to help find members who would like to volunteer for the Executive Board. They will be reporting on their findings.  There are many positions that need to be filled, including President and Treasurer.  We also use these meetings to set up our events for the year.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Hope to see you there.

I wrote a few days ago that Joe Shebester was  very ill and needed our prayers. Last night Joe passed away. We will all miss him very much. Our prayers go out to Jodie and family. I will follow up with more information as it becomes available.
