Today we held an in-house tournament with a few guests from Deland in addition to Rod and Donna from MidFlorida Lakes. Cindy, Zak, Jerry and Arlene arrived early to set up the coffee, donuts and along with our court manager Mike Beall, set up the courts for play. Bob Augusto and Vaughn Long donated the water for the day and Janet Shira donated the donuts. The day could not have been more beautiful with just a touch of wind. Cindy and Arlene along with some assistance from Bonnie, set up the charts and the list of entrants in the tournament. We had twelve (12) Pros and (12) Amateurs sign up for the challenge. There was a small entry fee and $100 donated from the club for prize money.

The purpose of the tournament was to help train our new directors, so Rod came to check that we had it all in hand. Everything went so smoothly. Cindy was our main director with Arlene as treasurer and co-director. We played twelve frame games so we could finish in one day. It was a draw tournament with Pros playing with Amateurs. Congratulations to all the players on a great game played. The results were:
