At 9:00 this morning, eleven (11) committed members showed up to express their ideas for our 80th Anniversary Celebration, chaired by Allen Best. It was decided to have our Annual Banquet Celebration on Thursday Night, March 23rd 2017 so that our Snow Birds will be able to join us before they depart to go back up north. A Banquet barbecue is in the making with pulled pork, chicken, several sides and an 80th Anniversary Celebration Flat Cake that will be supplied by Loretta Cantalupo.
Our Open To the Public Celebration will be held on March 4th in the form of a Fun Day in order to introduce shuffleboard to the public at large. We have Anniversary Tee Shirts in the planning/designing stage that will be made available for sale. Also, new CMS Club signage is in the making. We will keep you informed of any further developments. Ciao!
