Thursday Morning Four-Play started out sunny and ended before the noon heat was dialed up. Event Director Ron Raymond and his volunteers arrived early to prep eight courts for competitive play. Thirty-two (32) avid players showed up to challenge each other in a friendly game of shuffleboard. This was also the last time to shuffle for many of our seasonal snow-bird players before returning back north. We hope for all of them to have a safe journey. So once again, we have three shufflers who won all four of their matches; Walt, Ron, and Rex. Congratulations!

Note:  All of our members and players are invited to attend the retirement reception for Liz Yancey at the Chamber of Commerce on Canal Street tonight from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Afterwards members may want to participate in a game of shuffleboard under the lights which will commence at 6:30 pm.
