Today’s weather was perfect for the CMS Club Clean-Up Day that started approximately at 9am. Twenty-one (21) CMS volunteers got busy on the courts to have the leaves blown off, scrubbed, washed and squeegeed before the wind blew it dry. Then the wax was rolled on all twenty courts. Meanwhile, the bleachers were relocated, benches were washed, chalkboards were scrubbed and the sponges cleaned. The clubhouse floors were swept and some volunteers even re-painted and re-numbered the disks (vivid festive colors). We had a break for coffee and donuts before finishing up at 11:30am.
Without volunteers, there would not be a well functioning club. Thanks to all the following volunteers who came out to help maintain our courts and club facilities.
Allen and Joan Best, Rich and Candy Kordeleski, Arden and Mary McConnell, Randy and Bonnie Radke, Marguerite and Paul Fortier, Denny and Angie Wyss, Bill Boyes, John Tardif, Dennis Buelk, Jerry Jabaut, Roland Gilles, Dave Helverson, Darrel Harman, John Fortini and Bob Stock.
A lot of us will be back at 6:30 tonight to break-in the newly waxed courts.
