The Coronado/Mainland Shuffler

I would just like to say what a wonderful turn out we had for our first Shuffleboard Clinic. Zak was not able to join us but Dennis, Charlie, Jerry, Stanley and Bonnie each taught a portion of the classes. We had ten people come for the Beginner clinic to learn all the ins and out of shuffleboard. We had ten people come for the Strategy Clinic with Jerry and Charlie and another nine people come to learn Advanced shuffleboard with Stanley. Such a great time with so many questions. We should do this again. Thanks everyone for a great time.

The Mid-Florida Lakes Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND20 Mixed Doubles Tournament on Feb 14, 2025. Steve Clark was the Director and the sponsors were All Florida Roofing, Suter Air and Vincent Plummer. Congratulations to all the shufflers.

The Leesburg Shuffleboard Club was the host for the FSA Tournament P20B Open Mens/Ladies Doubles on February 12, 2025. Bob Robinson was the Director and Cebert Wealth Management was the sponsor. Congratulations to all the shufflers.

To Begin with, IT IS GREAT TO SEE SO MUCH PARTICIPATION. Please remember to arrive before 9:45 am. It takes our small crew a lot of time to set up enough courts and get them ready for play. Late Arrivals cause Chaos! So please plan to arrive early and by all means Give a Hand! Also it would help if you planned ahead and brought a dollar bill, making change is not very easy.

Please also note that the February Fun Day and Pot Luck have been cancelled due to our lack of facilities.

We are trying to plan our End of Year Pot Luck Dinner, but more on that when we post the minutes.

The Coronado Mainland Shuffleboard Club is offering special classes to improve your game. Please see attached. The sign-up sheets are located in the Cue House.

The Deland Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND19 Any Doubles Tournament on Feb 7, 2025. Chris Inga was our Director and the Sponsors were the Deland Shuffleboard Club, Chris and Joe Inga, Walt Bartels, Joe Constantine and Chick-Fil-A. The weather was beautiful after all the cold we have had. It was a really tough competition with 30 teams. Congratulations to all the shufflers.

The Tavares Shuffleboard Club hosted the State Tournament A16B Any Amateur Doubles Tournament on January 27, 2025. Rod Lewis was the Director and Ed Jones was the sponsor. There were 9 teams and it was a cold start, but the sun helped later. The tournament was finished in one day . Congratulations to all the shufflers.
