Mary Harlow asked me to put a note to everyone reminding them that on Monday nights we have Cribbage in the Club House. It is a lot more fun with more people, so if you are interested in playing or learning to play cribbage, please come join us at at 6:30 pm (for tips on how to play) and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm for regular play.  See you there.

Holiday RV Village hosted the ND20 Any Amateur Doubles tournament on Jan 16/17, 2023. Thanks to the crew headed by Ray Parlberg for their attention and prep of the courts. Rod Lewis was the Director and sponsors were George and Gloria Boring. This was a 16 frame/75 point game and there were 18 teams who came for the challenge. Congratulations to all the shufflers, especially those who identify with Coronado/Mainland.

Every club should have their submissions for the schedule for 23-24.

The Hawthorne Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND19 No Two Pros Tournament on January 12/13th. 60 players signed up for the challenge. Doris Hanke again treated the entire field with her cookies and Susanne and Frank DeRocchi arrived with Dunkin Donut coffee and donut holes to keep everyone warm and munching during the competition on the 2nd day. Rick Enright was the director with Bob Robinson & Doris Hanke as the sponsors for the tournament. The threat of rain delay for the 2nd day did not happen as the Competent crew at Hawthorne had the courts ready to play at 8:30 AM. Congratulations to all the players, especially Mark nd Jerry from Coronado/Mainland.

Deland finally held their ND09 Mixed Doubles Tournament which had been cancelled due to rain twice, on January 6th. It had been delayed from Thursday till Friday and the weather, though cold, was beautiful for shuffleboard. Richie and Carolyn Burrell were our directors and the Deland Shuffleboard Club was the sponsor. There were 16 teams of enthusiastic players. Congratulations to all the players especially those who identify as Coronado Mainland Shufflers.
