Gale William Lynch passed away on July 12, 2023, after a short illness surrounded by loved ones.

The weather today was beautiful as Dennis set up our second Singles Mingles Challenge of the season. We had Five (5) Amateurs and Eight (8) Pros come to play. We played 5 games and totaled the scores. Congratulations to all the shufflers for a great day.
The Results for the Pros:
First Place: Zak Wonson with 4 games and 356 points
Second Place: Charlie Jones with 3 games and 284 points
Third Place: Bob Tager with 3 games and 266 points
The Results for the Amateurs:
First Place: Vaughn Long with 4 games and 267 points
Second Place: Dick Wood with 4 games and 187 points
Third Place: Gail Kadar with 3 games and 230 points

Just a reminder for those who have not been down to the courts lately. Singles Mingles is this Wednesday, June 9th at 8:45 am. Please come ready for the challenge. Amateurs will play against Amateurs with a Pro Partner. This gives you a chance to learn from the Pros. $1.00 entry fee which will be won by the top three in Amateur and Pro categories. Hope to see you there.
PS: Singles Mingles does not mean you have to be single only that you will be assigned a partner.
I must apologize for this continued mix up in our schedule. It is necessary that all Club Correspondence representatives make sure that the ND President has your correct email address. This will be the last change in our 2023-2024 schedule. We did not have the correct email for Clermont and therefore the schedule was changed without their knowledge. The ND17 Jan 22, 2024, Any Amateur Draw Tournament will be played in Clermont. Thanks for your attention to this notice.
ND 2023-2024 FINAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
So there seems to have been some confusion about our Singles Mingles Program. Please mark your calendars. The program will be played on the FIRST AND THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH. We start play at 9:00 am so Dennis would appreciate everyone being there NO LATER THAN 8:45 AM, so he can set up the courts. The entry fee is $1.00 which is then awarded to the top three winners of the Pros and Amateurs. This program is not limited to Singles so please come on down and meet the Challenge. See you there.
Wednesdays 6/7 and 6/21, 7/5 and 7/19, 8/2 and 8/16. We may continue into September depending on the participation. Members from other clubs are welcome to participate. See you there.
