The Coronado/Mainland Shuffler

Deland welcomes everyone to come and practice prior to next week’s ND11 No Two Pros tournament . The courts are open Mon, Tuesday and Friday at 1:00 pm for practice. Hope to see you there.

Wednesday December 11, 4:00 pm dinner at 5:00 pm, in the Club House. Yankee Swap after dinner up to $10 per gift. Arlene is bringing the turkey and Barb is bringing the ham. Sign up in the cue house listing what favorite dish you will bring to share and how many people.

If anyone has decorations, they would be greatly appreciated! Anyone wishing to help set up is welcome at 3:30 pm.

Hi Folks, Next Wednesday we start the first of our monthly $ tournaments.  One buck per week..  we separate Pros and Amateurs and pay off after week four. We use the February tournament to seed people for our club championship in March.  All of your members are welcome to come over and play but you must be a CMS club member to qualify for the club Championship in March.

The Coronado-Mainland Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND09 Pro Only/Amateur Only Tournament on Nov 21, 22, 2024. Cindy and Zak Wonson were the directors. Our sponsors were G & W Roofing, Davis Bros HVAC, Marriott Springhill Suites, , NSB Physical Therapy, State Farm, Stellar Foot and Ankle, Arlene & Jerry Jabaut, Gail Kadar, Joyce Tivy and Zak & Cindy Wonson. Mike Beall once again had the courts looking fantastic. Thanks to our volunteers, especially Joan Sanford, Mary Howatt, Eurema Roberts, Gail Kadar and Cindy and Zak. The Coronado Mainland Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND08 Any Doubles Tournament on Nov 14, 15, 2024. Arlene Jabaut was to be our director but due to an illness Jerry Jabaut stepped in and with some help from friends did a good job of directing. Chris Inga finished up on day 2. Please be advised that due to scheduling conflict January13, 2025 (Amateur District Tournament and State FSA Singles Tournament the same day within the District) the following Tournament has been changed so as not to conflict with the State FSA Singles being held in Hawthorne.
