Congratulations on Tournament results.

Bill Boyes and Darryl Harman won a much deserved Main event 4th place, having travelled 1.5 hours each way on Thursday and Friday from NSB to Hawthorne at Leesburg. Bill and Penny and guest Sharon were a bit late getting to the Pot-Luck dinner on Friday as Bill’s last match did not finish until 4 PM.

Club Website is back online

After a 12-day service outage, coronado-shuffleboard-club.org is back online and available. We were at the mercy of the clumsy hands of our service provider. I guess we get what we pay for – $1 per month and a $15 per year registration fee. We are paid up for the rest of 2012, so it is too late to cancel. I remember something similar happened last year, but not as bad.

Now, dare I ask them to change the name of our domain to coronado-mainland-shuffleboard.org?

On the other hand, this news site (aka “BLOG”), hosting coronadomainlandshuffleboard.wordpress.org  is free, suits our purposes, and works very well (No problems so far – also  see theshufflersnews.wordpress.com.). The search and archiving facilities are great, and a full menu for separate pages can be set up (is already) – almost like a full website. Kinda makes me think that when December 2012 rolls around, I should simply not renew the problematic website at Web Hosting World and just swing everything over to this BLOG.

Now, I hope everything stays FIXED! Your comments are most welcome.
