The Coronado/Mainland Shuffler

The Tavares Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND13 Amateur Draw/ Pro Draw Tournament on January 9,10, 2025. Bob Robinson was the Director and Edward Jones and All American Washer Werks were the Sponsors. The weather has continued to be chilly but we had a great turnout for both Amateurs and Pros. Congratulations to all the shufflers.

This Saturday, Jan 4th is our next Board meeting. The Executive Board will meet at 9:00 am from now on and the General Board Meetings will start at 10:00 am. We should finish by 11:00 am when we will begin regular shuffling.

Potluck, January 7 and Fun Day, January 11 have been cancelled
 Next tournament: January 30-31, VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED!

It is time to wash the towels – need volunteers – Please See the Sign-up sheet in the Cue house.

A Nominating Committee has been appointed. Arlene Jabaut has agreed to chair committee and
Cindy Wonson has agreed to work with her. The positions of Treasurer and one Director will be
open in March. We need new people to volunteer to be on our Board of Directors. This will help diversify how our club functions.

In the mean time, EVERYONE HAVE A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR AND STAY SAFE! See you next year!

Please Note: We are canceling the fun day scheduled  for January 11th as well as the potluck scheduled  for January 7th. Due to various health issues we don’t have the staff to run the fun day and the organizers of the potluck felt it was too soon after the Christmas get together. Sorry for th changes.

The Coronado-Mainland Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND02 Any Doubles Tournament (originally scheduled for Oct 10th but was rained out) on Dec 19, 2024. The Deland Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND11 No Two Pros Tournament on Dec. 10, 11, 2024. Chris Inga was our Director and Walt Bartels, Chris and Joe Inga and the Deland Shuffleboard Club were our sponsors.
