I have had requests for the Tournament Results from the Northern District to be published on our site. They have been slow to publish them, but I will up date this page as I have them. Congratulations to all those members from the Coronado/Main Shuffleboard Club who are participating in these tournaments. it can be a grueling schedule.

Responding to some requests, we have made a list of all our club events as known at this point. Print it (two pages) or refer to online => click here.

Please keep in mind that plans some items will most likely change as we get into the new year, so  refer to the club calendar in the cue-house, and our ourside bulletin board.

On Tuesday November 24th, fourteen (14) members of the CM Shuffleboard Club got together for the first game of the 2015/16 season’s “Singles Mingles” competition organized by Dennis Buelk. We had 7 Pro/State Ams participants and 7 Amateur participants play three games in the morning, then take a lunch beak, followed by three more games in the afternoon.  At the end we had three Pro/SA winners: 1st.Place Dennis Buelk; 2nd Place Wayne Lockwood; and 3rd Place Allen Best. The Amateur winners were: 1st Place Randy Radke; 2nd Place Bob Tager; and 3rd Place Bonnie Radke. All participants each contributed $2 which was all returned as winnings to those who placed. CONGRATULATIONS!

We just learned that Joseph Clement Jr., 80, of Rochester, NY and New Smyrna Beach, FL., passed away peacefully on April 10, 2015 in Florida. Joe was born on Sept. 26, 1934 in Tupper Lake, NY, He had been a well respected member of the CM Shuffleboard Club for over 4 years. He mostly played with the group on Tuesdays but he will be missed by all.

On November 20th, we held our Thanksgiving Pot Luck Dinner for the CM Shuffleboard Club members. As you can see from the pictures, we had so many folks sign up that we needed to use the banquet hall instead of our usual dinner room. Joan Best led the pre-meal blessings and Allen Best made some club announcements.  Everyone brought delicious dishes to share and the tasty turkey was supplied by a couple of our club members. Johnnie, Betty and several others decorated all the tables and made it look so festive. We all had a great time and greatly enjoyed everyones company during this festive occasion. Many of the members stayed to play Bunko. Y’all HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

It is again time for the election of officers and representatives.

Per our Constitution we are required to have a president, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer, and five (5) representatives.

This year we are in need of candidates for all of the officer positions and at least three representatives.

Singles Mingles will be starting again this Tuesday, November 24th. It will be played on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month all through the winter. Please be at the court no later than 8:45 AM. Please bring $2 and your lunch. We will play three games in the morning, take a lunch break and then play three games after lunch. You will choose a new partner for each game. There will be prize money at the end of play.  You don’t have to be single to play, it just means you will change partners.  For further information, please contact Dennis Buelk.

We have planned the next FUN DAY for Saturday, November 21 @ Noon. Set up for the courts will be at 10:30. The last fun day was such a good turn out, lets have even more for this one. Hope to see you there.
