Wednesday night 3/18/26 the Coronado-Mainland Shuffleboard Club had their end of season Pot Luck Banquet. Jan and Bill Sweets have done it again. The tables were beautifully decorated and everything ran so smoothly. Her pastas were delicious. Zak and Cindy Wonson donated a beautiful gift basket (which Stanley won). Stanley welcomed everyone to our Pot Luck. We had around 25 people including Sigrid Reichert who will be sadly leaving us for the last time. She is selling her house and moving North for good. Dave Strock called Stanley up front and presented him with a trophy (The George & Lillian Merz, National Men’s Doubles Shuffleboard Champions) he found in Clearwater that was from 1972 thru 2000 and the last winner on the trophy was Stan Williamson. Thanks to everyone for all the good food and the wonderful volunteers who helped Jan and Bill make our event a great success.
