The Coronado/Mainland Shuffler 
I made a brief speach concerning the election at the meeting. The situatioin was that I had been nominated (from the floor) to regain my seat on the board for another two years. Arden McConnell and another person were also nominated, and both would be new to the board. I stood up and remarked that it was important to get new people involved on the executive board of the club, and I was therefore withdrawing my own name from the list of nominees.
I will say now that it has been my pleasure and pride to serve with many others as a board member, vice president and president of the Coronado/Mainland Shuffleboard Club. There are many other volunteer positions and jobs available, and it is fun working in any capacity with others to keep our club running smoothly.
